Create surveys: Common tools and their comparison
Abstract
The social sciences use surveys on many occasions to collect opinions, knowledge, or attitudes of respondents on various topics. Surveys are used in student projects and papers, but are also the daily bread of all empirical social scientists.
But how do I actually create a good survey? And which digital tools exist to simplify this process? In this workshop you will learn more!
In the first part we will talk about what to look for in a good design. For this, we will cover several key aspects and effects that one should be aware of when creating online questionnaires. In the second part we will talk about the different digital tools that are offered to create a questionnaire online in the first place. Here we compare different tools and their advantages and disadvantages.
