Insights from psychological research guide policy and practice, therefore it is critical to ensure that this research is reliable. We synthesize the results of psychological research and investigate its robustness, as well as the extent to which these results are affected by different biases. Moreover, we examine how transparent and open psychological science is, aiming not only at diagnosing, but also at improving the situation.
The research area “Psychological Metascience” consists of the Metascience Lab directed by Jun.- Prof. Kinga Bierwiaczonek, as well as projects led by ZPID researchers Dr. Tanja Burgard and Dr. André Bittermann.
