Archiving and publication
We provide archiving and publication services for psychology.
With our services, we want to enable the scientific community in psychology and related disciplines to conduct open, FAIR and trustworthy research. On the one hand, we offer opportunities for the publication and long-term archiving of data and code, preregistrations, preprints and many other digital research objects, as well as for the secondary publication of journal articles in open access. On the other hand, with our publication platform PsychOpen GOLD, we offer a unique opportunity for the primary publication of research results in journals that follow the Diamond Open Access model. All our services are accompanied by comprehensive counselling and training measures to provide researchers with the best possible support in using our services.

PsychArchives is committed to the FAIR principles, facilitating the findability, accessibility, interoperability and reusability of research and research data.
Research Data Center at ZPID
We operate a platform for the storage, documentation, and exchange of data specifically targeting psychological research. The Research Data Center at ZPID supports psychologists in sustainably preserving their research data and making it available to the scientific community in a regulated manner. The data providers are acknowledged for their contributions because the datasets are assigned DOIs and are thus citable. The platform is accredited by the German Data Forum (RatSWD).
DataWiz
DataWiz is an assistant system designed to help researchers to competently prepare and document their data right from the beginning of the research process. The tool assists in creating data management plans and managing one’s own research data as well as sharing data in teams and later making it available to the scientific community for future use. DataWiz is a free open science web application.
PsychOpen GOLD
PsychOpen GOLD offers a high-quality publication platform for the primary publication of scientific literature. All journals must meet clearly defined quality standards such as peer review of the submitted articles, an international editorial board, and English-language metadata. PsychOpen journals are represented in international scientific databases including Scopus, PubMed Central, PsycINFO, PubPsych, and DOAJ.
PsychOpen CAMA
In response to the increasing demands in psychology and its related disciplines, we are creating PsychOpen CAMA (Community Augmented Meta Analysis), an infrastructure to collaboratively compile the findings from primary studies to facilitate meta-analytical syntheses of the data.
