Open Science Presentation at the Online Day of Psychology

The regional groups of Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia in the German Association of Psychologists are jointly organizing the Day of Psychology this year - online. ZPID's Dr. Tom Rosman will participate with a presentation on Open Science.

Two topics mark the program of the day: "Impact of digitization on areas of activity of psychologists", the theme of the NRW regional group, and "Only strong together: Psyche and Soma", the Bavarian regional group's subject.

Dr. Tom Rosman, Head of Research Literacy and User-Friendly Research Support at ZPID, lectures on "Open Science in Psychological Research: Possibilities, Perspectives and Empirical Results" upon invitation of the Bavarian regional group.

"Replicable research is of central relevance for the further development of psychology in the broadest sense. Open Science can make a significant contribution here - and it also helps practitioners to find, evaluate and use scientific evidence", says Rosman about the importance of his presentation.

ZPID's portal PubPsych, which can be used to search for specialist literature that is accessible free of charge, is of interest to practicing psychologists. Free test procedures are available in the Open Test Archive.

The Day of Psychology is accompanied by numerous workshops in the course of the event. Details on the complete program can be found here.
