New Direction, New Look

The Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information (ZPID) presents itself with a new corporate design and a new homepage.

All ZPID products are assigned to seven main products and based on a typical research cycle covering seven interrelated phases.

“We are taking a new path with ZPID. This should also be reflected in our external image," elucidates ZPID Director Professor Michael Bosnjak the relaunch.

The new logo is linked to the new web address of ZPID - www.leibniz-psychology.org. To emphasize the new international orientation and accessibility of ZPID's services an address with English terms inevitable.

As of now, all ZPID products are assigned to seven main products and based on a typical research cycle covering seven interrelated phases:

  1. Information search (PubPsych)

  2. Study planning (PsychNotebook)

  3. Preregistration (RegReports)

  4. Data collection (PsychLab)

  5. Data analysis (PsychNotebook)

  6. Archiving (PsychArchives)

  7. Publication (PsychOpen)

By means of different colours, the user will be able to distinguish the different phases.

"In dependance on the research cycle our goal is to become a universal research support organization and provider of research-based services in psychology and its related disciplines by 2025", explains Bosnjak.

The new homepage offers the user detailed information on ZPID’s three research units: research literacy, research syntheses methods and mass data in psychology, e. g. on current research projects, upcoming events or new publications.

The job board, which receives more than 2,000 job offers for psychologists annually as well as the event calendar with conferences and congresses that could be of interest to psychologists, are still being maintained.

Besides information for scientists, students and those who practice the profession, ZPID wants to inform the interested public about important results of psychology as well. Doubtlessly, the information and publication services are certainly of great interest to this target group. Notwithstanding, the "News" section is also a good place to inform yourself about ZPID and its novelties.
