ZPID Twin Conference: Deadline for Submission Ends February 28, 2018

One week left to submit an abstract for the "Big Data in Psychology" and "Research Synthesis" conferences to be held at the Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information, Trier, Germany.

The Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information was able to attract international experts as keynote speakers for the two conferences in June this year.

For the Big Data conference (June, 7-9), keynote speaker will be:

  • Fred Oswald, Rice University: "The Hype, Reality, and Hope for Big Data Analyses in Psychological Research."
  • Mike Cheung, National University of Singapore: "Testing model driven hypotheses with Big Data."
  • Andreas Brandmaier, Max Planck Institute for Human Development: "The best of both worlds: Towards a synthesis of theory-based and data-driven modeling."
  • Katrijn van Deun, Tilburg University: "Big Data in Psychology: Statistical methods for linked high-dimensional with traditional data."
  • Michael Neale, Virginia Commonwealth University: "Structural Equation Modeling of Big Data: Challenges and Opportunities."
