TeaP 2023 in Trier

Conference of Experimental Psychologists

In March 26-29, 2023, the TeaP, the annual meeting of the General Psychology section of the German Psychological Society (DGPs), will take place at the Trier University in Germany.

The TeaP is a well-known psychological research conference of international junior and senior scientists from different fields of Experimental Psychology (e.g., cognitive, social, developmental, and biological psychology) and neighbouring disciplines. It has been held since 1958 and is typically attended by about 600 to 900 scientists from Germany, Europe, and the USA.

The organising committee and the venue change annually. In 2023, TeaP will be jointly hosted by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID) and the Department of General Psychology at the Trier University. “Trier University opens its doors wide to researchers and scholars from around the world”, says Prof. Dr. Michael Jäckel, President of Trier University. “Our Psychology Department is playing a key role in this process and is now in charge of organizing the annual meeting of TeaP for the third time.”

Prof. Dr. Claudia Dalbert, Director of the Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID): “The ZPID is the infrastructure partner for psychology, providing services to cover all aspects of public open science, including preregistration, open archives for data, study planning or related materials, and open access journals. Therefore, it is our pleasure to host the 65. TeaP together with our colleagues Prof. Dr. Christian Frings and Prof. Dr. Roland Neumann.”
