In the future, please use the free multilingual search portal PubPsych, which contains a significant part of PsychSpider’s contents.

The psychology search engine PsychSpider will be discontinued shortly. In the future, please use the free multilingual search portal PubPsych, which contains a significant part of PsychSpider’s contents.

For more than a decade, ZPID’s advanced vertical search engine PsychSpider has helped keep psychology students, academics and professionals abreast of new developments in psychology on the web by assisting users in swiftly and effortlessly locate relevant content.

Unfortunately, due to technical reasons it is becoming harder and harder to crawl the web and index relevant high quality psychology information. This is partly due to the fact that web pages are no longer metaphors of printed pages where text matters. Due to the ubiquitous proliferation of mobile devices and the trend to dynamic page generation, classical text indexing is becoming more and more irrelevant.

Therefore, ZPID is focusing on providing access to quality publications in psychology. Please use the free multilingual search portal PubPsych to find and locate high quality psychology content ranging from publications to research data. Thank you for your understanding.
