Getting along works better and self-determination is higher when feelings, i.e. their expression, strength, duration and quality can be adequately regulated. The ability to regulate emotions develops over the entire life span.

Scientific publications dealing with factors that influence this development are indexed in the PSYNDEX database - along with more than 300,000 other publications in German and English from the entire psychology spectrum.

A selection of these papers (summaries and bibliographical data) is compiled in this third volume of the bibliography on emotion regulation. This selection is presented in the database excerpt "Emotionsregulation: Entwicklung und Sozialisation" (PDF).
