The aim of the task group is to further integrate science communication into science practices. At ZPID, Anita Chasiotis also deals with the means of science communication. She is acting head of the "PLan Psy" project.
The project aim is to find out how research results can be communicated to the general public. Specifically, the project focuses on plain language summaries of psychological meta-analyses. The aim is to develop an evidence-based guideline that provides writing standards of plain language summaries in psychology.
"I am very pleased about the nomination and the opportunity to work on evidence-based guidelines and recommendations for the evaluation and impact measurement of science communication. This is a great opportunity to transfer ZPID research expertise into practice and at the same time a remarkable appreciation of our PLan Psy project and all contributors", says Chasiotis.
