It is a repository preserving a variety of digital research objects (DROs), with 20 different publication types (preprints, primary, and secondary publications), research data, tests, preregistrations, multimedia and code. We provide easy and free access to DROs according to the FAIR principles, which imply the commitment to ensure that research and research data are findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable. This allows PsychArchives to be embedded into the national as well as international repository landscapes. The Research Data Center at ZPID and PsyDok databases will be integrated.

We operate a platform for the storage, documentation, and exchange of data specifically targeting psychological research. The Research Data Center at ZPID supports psychologists in sustainably preserving their research data and making it available to the scientific community in a regulated manner. The data providers are acknowledged for their contributions because the datasets are assigned DOIs and are thus citable. The platform is accredited by the German Data Forum (RatSWD).
DataWiz is an assistant system designed to help researchers to competently prepare and document their data right from the beginning of the research process. The tool assists in creating data management plans and managing one’s own research data as well as sharing data in teams and later making it available to the scientific community for future use. DataWiz is a free open science web application.
The open access document server for psychology (PsyDok) contains approximately 3,600 documents, and 40% of these are also recorded in PSYNDEX. Thus, detailed metadata about the documents can be retrieved. PsyDok was set up with the support of the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft; a central self-governing research funding organization in Germany) as part of the third-party project “Digital Psychology Information” at the Saarländische Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek (SULB, Saarland University and State Library). After completion of the project, we took over responsibility for PsyDok from SULB, and the server is now available via the technical platform DSpace.
