Start date: 01.02.2025, fixed until 30.10.2027 (This is a fixed-term contract in accordance with Section 2 of the academic fixed-term labor contract act [Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz, WissZeitVG]).

Weekly hours: 65 % of standard work hours per week
Your responsibilities
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications. They may also pursue doctoral studies outside of working duties.
The project will address multisensory processing and neuroplasticity.
Your profile
A university degree in a relevant field.
We seek a PhD candidate with a Master (or equivalent) degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or a related field. The successful candidate has a background in behavioral and neuroscience studies in humans with sensory deprivation (vision and/or hearing), very good knowledge in experimental psychology, familiarity with at least one neuroscience method, high English proficiency, documented education in statistics, and good programming skills. International experience is of advantage. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working as part of a team in our lab and office space.
