formr.org is a free open source platform for data collection and allows the implementation of different study designs (cross-sectional, longitudinal, experiments, experience sampling, etc.). In addition, it is possible to connect formr with many other platforms, e.g. for sending SMS or for billing study participants, and to give them personalized feedback, programmed in R and RMarkdown, directly after the completion of their study. In this short workshop, participants will learn about the basic structure of formr, study design, question types, and data management in formr. An insight into the many possibilities of formr will be given and a first study will be implemented. All materials will be provided free of charge.
Speaker: Kai Horstmann is Junior Professor for Psychological Diagnostics and Differential Psychology at the University of Siegen and convinced formr user.
