The Central Institute of Mental Health (CIMH) stands for cutting-edge international research and groundbreaking treatment concepts in psychiatry, psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychiatry, psychosomatics and addiction medicine.

For the 2. cohort of the DFG Research Training Group 2350 “Impact of adverse childhood experience on psychosocial and somatic conditions across the lifespan” ( we are looking for 6 Doctoral researchers (m/f/d)

Die Stelle ist zunächst auf 2 Jahre befristet. Es besteht die Möglichkeit auf Weiterbeschäftigung. Die Bewerbung Schwerbehinderter ist erwünscht.

Participating institutions besides the CIMH are the Department of General Psychiatry, Medical Faculty Heidelberg, as well as the Departments of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Neurophysiology at the Medical Faculty Mannheim. The program combines an English-speaking three-year structured training for doctoral researchers with close personal support in an excellent research environment. The program begins on April 1, 2021 and the position is limited to 3 years

Ihre Aufgaben sind

  • Independent planning, conducting, analyzing, and publishing experimental and clinical projects within the research focus of the GRK 2350
  • Description of the specific projects see

Unsere Erwartungen an Sie

  • Excellent master in psychology, neuroscience, biology, biochemistry or another natural science
  • Timely completion of higher education with a qualifying degree and above-average results
  • Proven qualifications with particular relevance to the RTG
