PhD position in clinical neuropsychology
We are seeking a motivated PhD candidate in the context of clinical neuropsychology and cognitive neurology (stroke recovery) at the Department of Neurology, University Hospital, Bern, Switzerland. The project aims at discovering of proxies predicting post-stroke cognitive decline. Besides the longitudinal neuropsychological testing and behavioral assessment of stroke patients, the candidate will analyze the clinical MRI images to evaluate lesion anatomy and other imaging proxies of stroke recovery.
The ideal candidate:
- has a strong interest in clinical neuropsychology
- possesses basic knowledge in neuropsychological testing
- has experience in neuroimaging analysis or motivation to become acquainted with it
- possess basic programming and analysis skills
extensive training and supervision, integration into a multidisciplinary, experienced research team, participation in meetings and conferences.
